Lay me down
What do I mean?
Leave my frown
Where begins the seam?
To be human
Breathe and live
Be a person
To cry and live
Who matters the disable
Of color or ethnicityâ€¦
Sound or misplaced
What changes if deformity?
Race or misshaped
Welcome labels and given categories
Rich, fat, ugly or whore
Degradation does resume
As we judge and fast assume
For a tomorrow we yearn
In this state of chaos
To just be a person
To just be human.
