Chapter

1

The End of Childhood.

Imagination is the child with no limits
Blue skies, white clouds
His room is the fortress safekeeping treasuries.
Grey stones, Pine trees
The swing set is the portal to her mystic realm.
Bright lights, star dust
Their bikes are the racecars in the boiling desert
Heat waves, parched land.
Time, their endless doom firm to root their foundation
Age wears, pain tears.
Maturity engulfs them.
